silver cant be emulsified into a urethane based automotive paint. the solvents cause it to glob up...its like oil and water.

MTM Motorsports in germany built and coated the car.I know because they are an active member of the VW forum i frequent. the car has had a fake-chrome powder-coat applies, then been polished and clear coated.

that was the article i was refering too.

MTM was reluctant to build the car, because 99% of the goverent motorways in the world have laws against such paint jobs. (because of glare affecting oncoming drivers)
